Cusd is one of my favorite artists and biggest inspirations, so I tried to do some fanart of her character Messyhead. Was a lot harder than I thought, I think primarily because of the star. I feel like I didn’t get the shading correctly on the face, but overall I like it.

I saw this post among the slew of comments on this Planned Parenthood post regarding the decision on the after 20-week abortions ban in Arizona.
It was nice to see a conservative man standing up to the anti-choice bullies on the page.
The horrors we inflict on pregnant people by forcing them to keep nonviable pregnancies are just… I mean, I can’t even imagine. This is what late-term abortion bans do. I wouldn’t wish that woman’s experience on anyone, and good on her and her father-in-law for being willing to publicly stand up for choice now.
Fun fact, when I was younger, I was pro-life. However, when I hear things like this, as well as the fact that women should be allowed to do what they want with their bodies, this makes me happy that I’m pro-choice. Things like this DO happen, and I think the more extreme pro-life supporters need to understand that the child AND the mother need to be accounted for, not just the child. I’d rather see a mother terminate a child due to extreme medical complications rather than have her go to full term and have a tragic event like this that could scar her for life MORE than an abortion.
But it doesn’t mean you can’t be pro-life!
